Death will reach all of us. Every self will taste death as Allah mentions in the Quran.
I had a dream that I received a phone call about my cousins death 20 days ago.
I said to myself, do you work, anything could happen, someones death can afffect you
I should have reacted and listened to my gut and contacted him. Allah knows best. It was not meant to be.
He passed away today after suffering from stomach cancer for 3 years. His stomach was removed. He had many other problems and had suffered illness up to his death today.
May Allah grant him Jannah he was a good man.
Life is short.
Why are we in disbelief? Of a time we will face?
Why we do we think we will last forever.
I myself faced a scare. I bled blood from urine. I never really could imagine myself being sick. But Allah is in full control. He gives life and death to whom he wants. Grants illness and victory to whom he wants. He tests us in life as he wants.
The Prophet Muhammad SAW said that the wise one is the one who constantly thinks about death.
