Work Project Related to Me?

 Ironic...the project I am working on is called ESCAPISM. 

The meaning of escapism: the tendency to seek distraction and relief from unpleasant realities, especially by seeking entertainment or engaging in fantasy.

I am definitely an expert of escapism or perhaps I am the devils play tool. A common way to distract the youth of today is let them access the internet, then you will see time run away.

Is this the message Allah wants me to learn. That most of my problems are related to me escaping? 

The more we entertain ourselves the more the devil is happy with us, since we abandon our duties to the more important and valuable aspects. Our Ibadah, our jobs, our errands etc.

The more we exit this escapist mode of life, the devil becomes unhappy with us and wants to constantly distract us. Those that are possessed by the Jinn will definitely have it harder (Allah knows best).

We are always rewiring our brains. We should rewire them to be consistent upon only the good. How can we classify endless browsing and endless YouTube as something useful when there is no end goal or value that comes from it, its not even entertainment, its called lazy Escapsim.

I am in my new job now. There is a project with this very title. It is not related to what I am discussing, its an acronym for something else. 

Quite ironic? Allah's message coming through subtlety I think. The first major project is called this and guess what, I am so behind I feel disgusted. I hate being lazy and slow at work, my employer has rights over me. Simple things I am behind on. Not because I wanted to be behind but because my life has been in a mess for a very long time. Allah knows best.
