"You know, life don't seem so precious, till you realize you don't have one" Greenwich Mean Time (1999 Movie)

Don't know why I like this movie so much. Its an old British movie that only gets to come on TV every rare occasion or at least it did a decade or more ago.

A guy has aspirations to become a full time photographer always on the move, he crashes on his motorcycle, becomes paralyzed from neck down. His friends visit him in hospital, they can't really do much for him, they try to be there for him emotionally, but Charlie realizes its not enough and they can't help. He tries to make them understand, but they never will really, though they do their best. He talks of his GF who tries to support him but comes to the understanding that she is only 23 and she can't put her through any of this as she has her whole life ahead of her. She kind of struggles to see him, doesn't know what to do with him.

Charlie tells Ricks while he visits him in hospital while Ricks is also going through his own life troubles as he has a baby on the way and tries to get cash coming in with his music career, "You know, life don't seem so precious, till you realize you dont't have one".
