You Thought you were Missing Something?

You Thought you were Missing Something? Or do you feel behind? Behind in life?

I bet you regret a certain decision. Left your job without a plan? Something surely must have changed while you embarked on your jobless journey.

Marriage got cancelled? Found someone better.

Had an issue at your workplace, left your job? Well now you got to know your mother before she passed away?

Allah gave me a year away from work. I chose to leave my job. I chose to leave it to improve my health, to get married and to progress in my career. I thought leaving was just a short temporary part of my life again. I was so happy. I was happy because I was in a job I didn't want and was only there as someone who was passing by as I thoguht I was too overqualified for it. The truth is, Allah gave me the job that suited me exactly as it should.

I spent one year out of work, trying to get better, trying to improve my health. I spent a whole year just sitting idle for the most part. As the year went on, I stopped worrying. I stopped caring about how behind I felt in my career, behind with money, behind the material I have not possessed, behind when comparing the model we have copied from the world around us. I stopped caring about all that and started accepting things as they were.

I slowly began to embrace the Qadr of Allah. Divine decree. This could not have been any better or worse. This is exactly as he wants it to be. I had a dream that gave me clear direction. Just when I was about to give up on something, he allowed me to go to a certain location which I had a dream about. He gave me a blessing. I won't go into what that is.

We all make mistakes, sin and waste time. The point I am making here is, when you think you have been missing something, when you think your behind, just remember, everything is as he decrees. He has the knowledge of the unseen and puts you in places you could never have imagined. When something goes wrong, remember that he has planned things out for you. Your job is to be good and be patient. Seek his forgiveness and call on to him with Dua.
