Weird title. You probably have no clue what I mean. Everything is decreed by Allah. It is part of our Iman. Iman E Mufassil describes what we must believe in to be a Muslim:
You must believe in the decree of Allah (destiny).
I had a couple of situations recently where I had not seen my nieces for some time. On one occasion, I was invited to someone’s house for lunch and I delayed my leaving of the house for a reason I can't remember, but the delay caused me to leave and then find my nieces and nephews nearby. You wouldn’t think much of this, but this was big for me considering I don't see them much and have not visited their house for a long time due to a number of reasons.
Yesterday, I could not find my car keys as I was leaving the house to go to the gym. I was searching for a while and then finally found them. Then I walked out the house and then found my nieces and nephews again, always thinking about them, but never able to go and see them, there they were. I won't detail why I won't go to their house but let’s just say I won't for now.
Here I have two cases of what I call, Allah’s planning for me. When we think we are in stress, and have lost something, maybe a job, maybe some items around the house, there could be a blessing around the corner that you don't have the wisdom to understand. He holds all knowledge and he is the best of planners. Had I left earlier or later I would not have gotten to see them. I thank Allah and ask for his forgiveness.
One of his names is Al-Mu'akhir - The Procrastinator - The Delayer, the Retarder, The One who puts things in their right places, he makes ahead what he wills and delays what he wills.
I am currently not working, maybe this delay will be of great benefit, only he knows, he has the wisdom and does as he wills for his creation.
