One thing that I have noticed, even with myself included, is that the knowledge amongst us "Muslims" can be very weak.
Question: If someone asks you about Islam, do you know how to respond, or do you have to start thinking about it?
In my experience, I can probably say by what I have seen, that the knowledge amongst us Muslim whether they are born into Islam or not is very weak. I am not ruling out the millions and millions of Muslims around the world who don't fall into this category, because lets face it, there are a lot at the same time that can respond to such a question comfortably. It makes me wonder a lot about life, about the time we have wasted or perhaps the education we were not given when we were young or at least at a stage when it was more appropriate.
This reminds about something else, and that thing is called effort. Effort is something which I will address in my next blog inshaAllah.
